The services and corresponding prices should also be indicated to stay within your budget.  You should also list down other options and alternatives in case your first choice is not available on you wedding day.
Once in a while, this overview should be evaluated to make sure your goals are slowly, but surely, being met.
Pick the venue.  Usually, it is one of the first decisions made in the wedding planning period.  Any place will be possible for a wedding ceremony, but there are certain criteria to keep in mind.

The place should be accessible.  If it is too remote or the given directions are too complicated that even a rocket scientist would have a hard time deciphering it, guests might find themselves strewn in parts unknown.  You don’t want your guests getting lost, right?  So as much as possible, decide on a location that is easy to find.

Take note that a parking space is necessary to accommodate guests who brought cars.  If they have a hard time looking for a space, it might cause delay, which could mar the whole affair.

If you have an indoor setting, be on the lookout for stray electrical wirings.  Have someone do a quick test on the adequacy of the lighting as well as the efficiency of the air conditioning or heating system.
Assign “cleaners”.  This does not literally mean hiring additional janitors to clean up after the reception.  These “cleaners” will be tasked to scan the premises if there are valuables left by visitors.  They will also be delegated to transport the wedding gifts to a secure area as the couple embarks on their honeymoon.
